I agree, the songwriting, the Pompous Therion fluffy Walt Disney sound, they are a bad tragic/comic caricature of themselves.

I rather spend my time (even with all the hype/theater surrounding) with the Ghost band, they are a way more cool Cartoon thing, and plus write some damn fine sweet 70's/80's sounding songs.

This band has successfully transformed into Death Metal Nightwish, which I didn't know I needed. I appreciate Abrahadabra and this album way differently than I do Black Cult Armageddon and Puritanical Euphoric Misantropia.

I think this is a great metal album that will get a lot of acclaim from anyone who isn't a trve kvlt black metal fan. Metal needs more great albums from legacy bands, instead of your 5 finger dick punches and whiny pussy -core bands who were listening to Panic at the Disco 10 years ago. From that standpoint, I'm pleased. Do I miss Nick Barker on Drums? Absolutely, but hey, I'll take this over 90% of the heavy music released in the last 4 years
