American rock legends Grateful Dead release a new stereo remix of their monumental fourth studio album, Workingman's Dead, produced by Drummer Mickey Hart. The album was originally recorded in February 1970 and originally released on June 14, 1970. Workingman's Dead and its studio follow-up, American Beauty, were recorded back-to-back using a similar style, eschewing the psychedelic experimentation of previous albums in favor of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter's Americana-styled songcraft.
